  1. I like different types of music. From Soft Rock to R&B to Country. Its amazing how the other day i heared a song that i have not heared in years. The group was (StarShip) and the song was ( nothing gonna to stop us now ) that was and still is a great song. What song brings back Memories to you. That you havent heared in years.

80s music is probably the most nostalgic. I've started collecting 80s vinyl and the songs have such a great memory vibe even if I don't have any memories.

Me I get the strongest effect from late 90s stuff. The entire Portishead Dummy album puts me in a surreal flashback. Good times.

I loved the 70s and 80s R&B but once the calendar turned over to the 1990s it was all rap music for me.

Yea rap kinda steamrolled the entire R&B genre. Kinda like metal steamrolled hard rock. There aren't many bands like VH or AC/DC today, it's either metal or pop.

Maybe that's why old songs are so nostalgic, they were good honest songs without trying to push extreme genres. Back then you could be a fan of rock, pop, r&b and country all at the same time lol

...forgot to mention I loved PM Dawn if that counts as 90s r&b. Loved what they did with that Hendrix song You Got Me Floatin, that's def a nostalgic song for me (the 90s version, wasn't alive for the original Hendrix lol)
