Does anyone know? I mean theyre both meant to be THC crystals but whats the difference besides appeareance? Likke are athey just different parts of the bud? LIike the red is the flower and the white just sort of coats it? IDK!

I'm blasted stoned, so if I'm not understanding your questions correctly -- I apologize in advance :)

The "hairs" are pistils; interms of the plants, they're what the female flower would use to catch the pollen that the male releases. Since we don't want the females getting pollenated, the pistils just continue to get covered in "THC crystals/resin glands.

As far as why they're different colors.... sometimes that's just something that has been bred into a particular marijuana strain -- like how some have purple/blue look to them. But usually when you get bud that has white hairs, it's because the grower harvested them early -- before they turned orange/brown. They all start off white, but usually turn more of an orange/brown as they get close to harvest. Othertimes it's just because they're covered in so many dank crystals that they just look silver/white.

ganja goo ninja hit it right on the head-- typically genetics are going to determine the color of the pistils however if you are growing indoors (or outdoors but you wont be able to control it) you can drop the temperature during flowering and it will give the pistils a more purpilish color, sometimes even blue...
