diesel ryder and cab test run

fingers crossed all will go well only bout 2 days old dunno he/she only time will tell happy wotever tho the first set of leaves aint even uncurled yet lol but its head is out green thumbs every1 im running a 150w fluro only over 1 seedling dipping my toes with my new cab n strain keep them thumbs green temp over n out

maniac good 2 see u here bud this morning wen i woke my d ryder had poped its head up n opened its leaves so i got a snap of it wot i was wondering is do they hav purple in them as i noticed the stalk and under side of the leaves were very dark purple lol anywho here b a pic

 

hmmm for some reason i can't enlarge your pic.......alot of seeds i've popped over my growing experiences usually have a purple stem and sometimes hues of purple on the underside of the leaf and a tad bit on top of the leaf. Give it a couple weeks and it will be green!

EDIT: Not sure if your already doing this but, hosting your pics from hipforums is much easier. Plus the server is in amsterdam so you get that added feeling of security....atleast us USA growers do

Yea bud, one of my satori clones is showing quite a bit of purple in the stem....but nowhere else. I've had tons of plants show purple stems but normal colored buds. Only had 1 plants buds go purple just from phenotype properties. It was a fem'd ICE from Nirvana. It had great bag, or jar in my case, appeal. But the potency wasn't there. I've had others go purple from the cab temperature.......around the 45-50F range during lights off. but in my experience that just stuffs up the bud formation.....sure does look good tho!

Echo. Ditto. whatever they say thses days. imo I see holding nighttime temps up in the 60s to be good. Low humidy to prevent bud rot in the end. Plants looked wicked in the cold temps but potentcy was not there for the strain and knowing the seed stock. I expected better thc content. Imkeeping the heat on at nights now. It dont get cold in jamaca at night lol.

 

haha yeah i hear ya there. i live up in the mountains so when winter hits i HAVE to run the light during night time just to keep the temps......reasonable. But that works out cause during summer we have super hot kind of arrid climates......so i still run the light at night. Only problem is if you aren't light tight.......your "night time" for the plants is during the day......so to run it like this it has to be light tight.

Hey there temp! just bout to finish this beer and smoke a bubbler bowl and hit the hay! But had to snap a pic and show ya the purple on this satori clone.......its nothing special.......had a bagseed outdoors last year and the whole main stem was totally purple and all the leaves and buds were green......'twas quite cool looking! Anywho heres the pic......clone taken from a 40-50 day old plant and its been rooting and growing for roughly 3wks now.

Don't worry about the purple for now as Maniac sez - it is normal for the wee ones to start off that way. It should fade overtime as nutrient uptake progresseseses.

hey every1 thanks 4 stoppin in well i thought i was off 2 a good start but man 2day was bloody boiling n i thought that it would be 2 hoty 4 my cab so i came home at lunchtime n put a fan in the window 2 suck in sum cool air but i wasnt enough wen i got home its was bout 92 inside :O way 2 much my d ryder is keeled over ive now moved the fan 2 the back of the cab so it is blowing cold air at the back n the temp is dropping i jus hope its enough dam it fingers crossed the last few days where i am hav been rediculously hot lol gotta love it but no good 4 the cab grow

 

damn that sucks about the temps bud. try and prop that lil gal up with a toothpick or something. if it keeps getting too hot in there you can add another intake and exhaust fans. Im sure you'll figure something out. Keep us posted.

im sorted chaps ive put a big house hold fan faceing down at the intake n its dropped i went round a mates 4 a bit n its back standing proud i recon ur right bout the intake n out take might double them up will hav 2 wait tho as ive drained my bank balance a bit 2 much lol all is well in the garden of temp was a close one tho thanks guys

man i cant get my temps out of the high 80s its real startin 2 bug me i dont think im gonna be able 2 go with more fans eather as these r noisy enough lol but it is next 2 my bed haha wot im thinkin is maybe a bigger cab n better fans blast another thought i had was maybe its the thermometer ive got as the plant seems fine i dont kno its only a cheep thermometer from a fish shop 3.99 jobby maybe its that dunno but the temp is buggin me lol dag nab it :s

 

Another exhaust up top and maybe a passive air opening at the bottom.
