I elected not go to my grad ceremony last month. My parents were disappointed, but I honestly didn't care, they respected my decision anyway. I never really liked high-school,(except for chorus) being sort of a loner. Who else decided not to walk on their grad nite?

If I had a second chance, I wouldn't go to either graduation nor prom, but I had to... I mean, high school is supposed to provide the happiest & most memorable years of one's life, right?

Heh. Our school didn't even give us a real graduation ceremony.

Americans make such a fuss about graduating from high school... It's high school, people. Not such an accomplishment.

having to wait around a few hours through some boring speaches and other people getting their diploma and spending about 30 secodns getting mine just doesnt seem appealing to me

Yeah, I won't be going to my college grad next August either...I don't like attracting attention to myself in any way. My aunt seemed really disappointed that I didn't go to my high school one (didn't get grad pics either) and she wants to see me dressed up for some reason...yeah, thats gonna happen.

i think my family would kill me if i didnt go to mine

  13. if my school had made it mandatory I would have written something like 05 rox in their roof w\ kerosene so they would take away that last "priveledge"

    luckily it was optional...

Mine wouldn't of been so bad if I wasn't under these super hot lights for like 2 and half hours. I just wanted a fucking glass of water.

And prom, well, was just a straight up fucking blast.
