So i mailed my voter registration info in,in June of this year. Didnt hear anything from them by late July so i gave them a ring. They told me to send another one in,so I did in early August. 2 weeks ago I got this thing in the mail telling me that I can vote and to take the paper in and show them. We called just to make sure that i was register and they told me I was.
So this morning I got up early went up to where I have to vote and it was packed...and since i had school today and I couldnt miss school cause I need my hours I went to school. I left school at 4 (usually i dont get out till 4:30). I meet my grandparents at the place we vote and we go in. I get up to where I have to sign that paper and my name wasnt on it. So the lady running the thing called up and asked the people and she said they said that i wasnt register. So my grandpa who was going to vote for Mccain voted for Obama for me.
So then later tonight my grandma calls me telling that she talked to the people and i could go up and fill out this paper and vote. The only thing was that by the time I got up there the polls wouldve been closed and I wouldnt have even been in line.
So yea i was really pissed off.
    Just wanted to share.
Hope everyone that did get to vote had a better time then me.

when i was there, there was a young girl next to me (probably 18 years old). her mom was just standing behind her watching everything she did over her shoulder. i wanted to throw my voting machine at the old bitch. that way i could have actually done something productive with it at least...

I voted for Frank Zappa, I don't care who wins as long as it isn't Barack. Sadly, I do believe that he will win.

yeah don't count on grandpa, what about the absentee votes, i really don't know anything about it, shit i'm kinda surprized that my voter card actually got here, i thought u had to change over your drivers liscense to the state you were voting in, but i guess not cuz mine isn't anywhere near where i voted at.

i'm definately curious whats gonna happen in VA anyways (that's where i voted) from what i can understand we're still waiting on the count.

i'm interested too, because i just recently moved to cali from va, and voted in the va primaries. va is generally a republican state, no? but from the people i knew while i was living there, it felt like there was a pretty good chance it might go dem this election.
