Did Your Parents Ever Provide Birth Control?

As teenagers, did your parents (or any adult) ever provide you with birth control?
I hear that some parents do now days.

 

My dad offered to buy me condoms all the time. He really didn't want me to get pregnant apparently. I never took him up on it. I figured if we were mature enough to be having sex we were mature enough to buy our own condoms. As luck would have it, I'm infertile. Think of all the money we could have saved.

 

Yes my girlfriends parents did, we now have a kid together. Cant say I dont love life and my kiddo tho! She keeps me sane


I wouldnt say it works very well.

 

It only works if you use it. Just having it in your possession doesn't stop the swimmers

My mom gave me condoms once when I was 15. My parents let me start the pill when I was 16.

 

Yes, I was sexually active very young. My mother bought me condoms until I was 15ish at which point I was put on the pill. I think she was afraid of the looks or questions she would get taking me into the doctor before that. I took a while for me to get on a pill that didn't make me sick.

 

No. When I was a senior in high school and engaged I went on birth control pills but I paid for them.

When i was old enough to i acquired the pill myself.

 

A girl that worked part time at one of my earliest jobs asked me If I knew what a French letter (condom) was - I had never heard of them & she gave me one the next day. I didn't know what she was meaning by French letter & told her I never knew anyone in France lol

My birth control was simply stern words from my father.

mine did back in 2000 when I was 15. i was on it for like 6 months and decided to stop taking it because it made me feel messed up and like crap.

How old is your son? Does he bring lots of girls home or do you think by having a more open minded parent, sexual stuff is less of an issue and he's more mellow and low-key about rebelling sexually and stuff?

 

My dad have me some Trojans once, the non-lubricated kind. I prefer lubricated but I understand why he prefers those...he has plenty money for better lube lol
