    My friend just found out he has type II. Does anyone know if weed affects diabetes, meaning she he stop? I know you cant smoke ciggs, but i dont know about tree-thanks

    I'm by no means an expert on pot, but I would worry more about the munchies that come as an after-effect than the actual smoke. Maybe ask the people in Marijuana forums? My bf lives in there and feels it is his life's work to explore every aspect of the plant.

    I agree with the munchies too!!!

    Overeating is both a risk factor for Type II diabetes, as well as a condition which interferes with the ability to maintain blood sugars within normal limits. To the extent that pot smoking causes "the munchies," it may have a significant role in causing and/or worsening Type II diabetes.
