It's devil's night. Do people go around tearing shit up and setting fires where you live? They don't where I am currently residing, but back in Motown where I grew up shit got REAL on Devil's Night.
around here, i seriously doubt it. i just moved back to the area after 10 years away so i don't actually know for sure, although nothing ever happened when i lived here before. back in those days, if people were going to create halloween mischief, they did it on halloween. with the rain, i think we're safe tonight. i did live in toledo for a while. there people went around tearing shit up and setting fires every night.

Nothing here... There won't be anything tomorrow night either. This town did that last Sunday. They always choose a Sunday afternoon and do limited trick or treat here... It's pretty bogus.
No burning or looting in this community just the occasional smashed pumpkin spree, car egging, or papering over the toilet seat at a party Nothing fun ever happens in this community hotwater
Back in my little hometown (in the 40s-50s-2000 people) it was really fun on Devils day. Every kid in town from little ones to people in their 20s and up --loaded up on water balloons and the whole town was one big water balloon fight. If you wanted to stay dry--you stayed home. Some of the old folks would come downtown and sit in their cars just to watch. Guaranteed they kept their car windows up! I think it died out some time when I was gone and living elsewhere. Probably because it's a meaner world now and one might get shot for hitting someone with a water balloon. So it goes.
I am taking 2 zombies, a mummy, and a reluctant chicken trick or treating. If the chicken will put on her costume.
Hell yeah! Shits going too get rowdy here. They had too close off part of the town square area because they had so much damage too it last year. Its going too be a splendid evening though!
they let them go? sounds like they keep them caged up the rest of the time. sometimes if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself.
Most parents around here trust their kids, so the parents most of the time just let the kids walk alone.so in a way to me they are "letting the children go on their own"
