GOD, I hate Devendra Banhart. He's NOT talented, why does he have a cult following? I'll give credit where it's due and say his protege from Vetiver is talented, but that's it.

As for Coco Rosie. I have their second album, and man, it's garbage. If I could get it for cheap, I'd be willing to listen to their first album. Their second album is just a couple of ghoulish girls using toy instruments into songs. There's a reason why critics though it sucked

 

Although I found it amusing to be sitting in the theater watching the Hills Have Eyes 2 Preview and hearing a song by him for the trailer.

 

Devendra admitted himself that he isn't talented. But there is just something about the man. The bearded lady, I think he's wonderful.

Oh and Sunshiningirl there's a album compilation that Devendra handpicked himself called
The Golden Apples of The Sun. It's really good, mostly Folk-Psych Acoustic stuff you should check it out.
