I'm Nobody! Who Are You? Poem lyrics of I'm Nobody! Who Are You? by Emily Dickinson. I'm nobody! Who are you? Are you nobody, too? Then there's a pair of us - don't tell! They'd advertise - you know! How dreary to be somebody! How public like a frog To tell one's name the livelong day To an admiring bog!
well a frog croaks all day, in the bog, so perhaps its a poke at people who think they're important. Maybe shes saying " i'm happy with who i am, i dont need to be famous" . maybe people who talk about themselves in general bored her. Yeah i can see her in a crowd, listening to some pompous ass on stage, and then writing this. but dont quote me.
