I've been feeling really bad lately.. I'm not in school anymore. I'm afraid about my future. I've starting cutting myself. I've even tried to hang myself.. but I couldn't figure out how to tie it right.

I just want something to cheer me up. I usually write poetry but I'm having writers block right now. I don't like where I live.. a couple of my teeth are fucked up and they hurt.

I just wanted to tell people. Thanks for listening...

Things will get better. It would probably help you to talk to someone in person.

Listen to some good music... meditate... take up a physical activity.

Stink speaks the truth. Exercise will help, especially, in my experiance. Partly because music and meditation take a certain mood to appriciate, and exercise is just exercise, but it will release endorphins and make you feel better.

    Talk to people.

If you don't like where your life is going, change it. Move where you want to live. Get the job you want. Go to school if you want.

sorry to hear that you are feeling so bad

if you are feeling suicidal and have gone beyond ideation to planning, this is very serious. getting medication and therapy is probably a good idea.

do you have health insurance? would you be eligible for medicaid if you don't?

you might want to check out
    www.befrienders.org
they have a list of suicide hotlines

also, www.suicideforum.com is an on-line support site

getting some exercise sounds like it would be a good idea. i've read that getting 1/2 hour of gentle (enough to sweat just a little bit) aerobic activity every day can be good for depression.

self-help methods may be good, but since you've already gone to the stage of planning an attempt, getting medical help is advisable

you might want to look at this book,

sorry if this is more advice than you wanted

I hope that you feel better soon!

Things can be very confusing when you are young.

We all have a habit (whether young or old) of taking how we are now and trying to view how it will be in the future-forgetting that we will change and learn just as the future will change.

It is especially hard when you are young-trying to balance how you fit in with the world now (which for most young people isn't very good-it wasn't for me). It is hard to see the future when you are young-not realizing that you will change and learn, that life as a teenager basically sucks and you really can't see how it will change, and you end up having a very negative view of the world. It is hard challenging your expectations with where you see the world now.

Give it time-the world around you will change-and you will change. I am not being negative here but you still have much to learn about life (even though you are very smart now).

Now go please watch a good movie.

Many poster on this site have said "someone always has it worse" and I strongly believe its true. Honestly life is a game, some days everything goes your way, others nothing works and it hurts you deeply.

Gotta stand strong on your own man.

"this life is hetic and everyday more drama is expected, my body can handle physical pain but my mind is needing and exit, people are telling me to relax and take it slow but i'm trying come up in the world so i stack and break my dough."

Remember; Haters want you to fail, they get made at your success, they rather you stress, knowing they are the truly depressed.

    Good luck.
