I'm having a tough night tonight. I feel really depressed and lonely. My boyfriend's an hour's drive away and my son is asleep. When I go to bed, I'm getting my son out of bed and bringing him in with me. He's 2 1/2 and a great cuddler. I had a smoothie, which helped my mood a lot, but I'm still somewhat down. I'm kind of afraid to go up to bed for fear I won't be able to sleep and I'll just lay there stressing over everything. I tossed and turned all night last night. What do you do to make yourself feel better when you're depressed?
Talking to someone or getting wrapped up in something else can help. Maybe watch a couple funny videos on YouTube?
I felt a little down yesterday (and insomnia-plagued), so I listened to some comedy albums. And what do you know, it worked. Do what works .
