Please tell that I am wrong: Trump wants to take over Canada, Greenland and the Panama canal. This is info on the BBC world service so I have no reason to doubt it's authenticity.
I cannot understand how this man is being allowed to put this kind of shit out there. He is dangerous, deluded and an absolute fucking dick!

That may not be such a bad idea. The turbine farm in the Thames estuary is diverting the winds and playing havoc with the weather, causing floods like never before. Needless to say, no one will admit it.
You do not need to be a rocket scientist to work out that if you place six windmills downwind from each other, only the first one will work.
We need extensive planning before we flood half the country and turn the other half into a desert.
If we absorb all the winds at our coastline we will not have any rain clouds at all. LOL

Put simply, as we should have all learnt at school.
Energy can neither be created or destroyed.
For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

The solution for the UK, could be to import Donald Trump.

Trump is insane. The congress needs to regain their senses and block the Inauguration.

It is said that every sinner is a potential saint. So I think Americans should give Trump his chance at redemption. His experience in the previous term may have matured him and adhere to due process and behavior better.

He is not a genius by any means but he is shrewd and pragmatic.

I am also sorry to see the assassination attempts on him, and he is actually lucky to be alive now. Considering that he was a victim of a gun shooting that took out his ear lobe, he perhaps may do more for gun controls than any other president due to personal trauma.

Now Trump blames the LA Fires on Gavin Newsom. Newsom has many failures and faults, but wind is not one of them. The only 100MPH wind I have seen is coming out of Donald Trump's Mouth.

The California Fires are a legitmate issue to get upset about. Had The Chatsworth Reservoir been filled up it would have helped.
Wishing that the abundant rains in Northern California could be diverted to re-fill Chatsworth. California government is not doing its job if the fire hydrants are dry.

Environmental regs want to boost the flow of the Napa river and Sonoma creek to protect the environment of the S.F. Bay.

Did budget cuts affect firefighting? The Los Angeles Mayor was far away when this disaster broke out.

 

The problem is not water storage and capacity.

California is an Ecosystem that over millions of years is classified as a fire climax. The problem is over development in a rural environment. It is easy to place blame on politicians and local governments who are deluged with oceans of speculative builders and their attorneys to the "Build baby Build" mentality. They got in an out quickely with their fortunes. People like Donald Trump and Elon Musk have lived in Cities all of their lives and have probably rolled out a Sleeping Bag.

The only solution is rezoning to larger lot size and smart landscaping to produce a fire resistant premises. 100MPH winds would probably blow Mar Lago into the ocean. Trump not withstanding.
