Okay so my friends and I had 7 hits to split between the 3 of us. We each decided to take 1 to start with. We waited what must of been an hour and nothing happened. We were convinced that we bought fake acid because this has happened before. Ha so we decided to eat the rest of the acid. My friend and I took 2 hits each and my other friend took 3. We waited another half an hour..still nothing. We even had time to walk to 7/11 and back. So then we were sure it was fake and decided to smoke some weed. It felt like 10 minutes after I got high the acid just kicked in like crazy. This was almost 2 hours after we took the first hit. It was the biggest trip ever not knowing whether I was just really high or tripping on acid. Eventually after 3 hours or so I was sure it wasn't weed. Is it common for acid to take this long to kick in? I've heard its supposed to take no more than an hour.
usually you will start to feel it after 30mins to 1 hour. but it also takes up to 4 hours after you start to feel it before you peak. it is very likely that because you only took one hit at first that the effect was only very little after an hour.
my first time with LSD took 3 hours to kick in. It was such a beautiful experience. I thought for sure it was bunk...I just waited...it lasted allllll day. Then one day I ate 3 tabs and they hit me so hard in 20 minutes. I think it has to do with how fresh and pure the molecule is and how it's been stored.
It wasn't delayed, you just took too long to take the next hits. Peak happens from 30min to an hour after the last hit. I don't ever feel anything off one hit anyway
That is normal, gorilla. Sometimes it just takes a while, and weed has been known to get the effects goin. "I don't ever feel anything off one hit anyway" Gratefully Dawg, just wanted to mention that "one hit" means nothing. With quality blotter, you only need on hit because it has the proper amount of LSD on it. If you need two, that means your hits are weak.
"quality blotter" ... now a days one hit is never enough. i have tried many different batches of "quality blotter" and one is never enough. the average dosage per hit now a days is between 75-125ug and that will never be enough for a good trip. one hit is just a taste. i have had very strong doses before and one hit still wasn't enough. 300-500ug for a good trip,,, otherwise you are only getting a little taste. kerbe6 - i suggest you try a little more next time, you have no idea what you are missing.
Haha, I think you misinterpreted my post a bit. We actually agree with each other! Firstly, weaker blotter (75-125ug) like you said is indeed common, but that's definitely not to say more quality stuff ~300ug is not out there. Trust me, it is. When I say "quality blotter", I am talking about doses in the 300ug area. This is assuming I haven't.
I've never even seen blotter where I'm from. Only seems to come in liquid form here. But if you can get doses that strong, then I want to move to your area man. Not that I'm really disatisfied by the local stuff in any way.
One time I had a delayed kick in with magic mushrooms, never with LSD and only this once. I was laying at a lakefront next to a friend and he started tripping. This was about 30 minutes after eating them. He started getting all into it and I was completley sober and frustrated. Anyway he let me put on his headphones and I laid back down with South Side of the Sky by Yes playing. Soon as the middle part came on, when the band starts singing in nonsense language, the skyline over the trees across the lake started rising and bending, and little mushrooms popped up all around me with mouths and were singing the music! I was like YES!!!!!!!!! so THATS why the band named themselves thus! :tongue:
The first time I did it I took one hit and had an amazing time watching the wood move like water and getting mentally sucked into the new maps of black ops. When I died in the game my whole vision went red. It was amazing!!
This sounds similiar to the first time I took acid. Me and my friend bought 12, and we planned on only taking two, cause the other 8 were for people also. But we took one and drove home (the drive was 30 minutes) we didnt feel anything. So we took another, waited an hour, still nothing. Then we slowly started taking one after another until both of us had 6 in us. Still nothing was happening. We decided to go for a walk around the block, and decide if we wanted to just go buy weed and call it a night and never buy from this person again. Halfway through the walk it hits us like a wall. It was the amazing, from then on we have gone on walks after taking them, I personally think i set up a mental trigger, but sometimes i have heard that people need certain triggers.
