Could someone please give me a easy defination of Facism, socialism, communism and capitalism....Iam trying to understand these things but i cant.
socialism - controlled economy communism - controlled economy / control people to ensure everyone gets equal capitalism - free markets, personal wealth creation fascism - sort of capitalist socialism. controlled economy for good of capitalism (hard to define) these are all very basic interpretations, however.
personal wealth creation and free markets? i dont understand that...And whats meant by a controlled economy? Controlled by the goverment? thanks for responding btw
yeah, state / government controlled. and capitalism is free market advocacy. the economy is privately operated more so and the intention is to make a profit - not offer equal to people like socialism and communism. and it's no problem at all. i've tried to keep it basic, pretty sure you'll get a few more responses that will only further your knowledge of the topics at hand.
The best thing to do is read some books on political ideas then make up your own mind as to their defining features. A good introduction would be - Plato to Nato [ame]http://www.amazon.co.uk/Plato-NATO-Studies-Political-Thought/dp/0140246770 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Political-Thought-Plato-NATO-Science/dp/0534108016/ref=sr_1_4?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1308314142&sr=1-4"]
they make my head spin. it is hard to really conclude any noticeable difference between extreme right and left wing ideologies. interesting, though.
i was invited to socialism 2011 on facebook though - quite amusing, nearly eighty pounds a ticket for one afternoon of being told that capitalists are stealing my money.
no, just if you're a person who prefers to work for the betterment of all rather than merely for the betterment of your boss
No matter what economy it is those with the proper connections and money will have more success than those of us trying to establish roots in this fucked up society. I am not saying that you cannot work your way up, but it's a longer road than it is for some. That's why your republican, free market loving boss who only comes in to count his money and complain of your work will be the first to be shot by my rebel army.
I think so the best thing to do is read some books on political ideas then make up your own mind as to their defining features.
google these words plenty of information on these subjects as to their merits, you will have to decide for yourself
yeah i know dude i got alot of cathcing up to do on these topics, i hope one day ill be able to understand them completely. as for now iam learning lol
I'd be more interested in what some here accept as the definitions of some words frequently used in posts, such as: 1. theft 2. fair 3. just Just a few examples.
"Smoking kills. If you're killed, you've lost a very important part of your life." - Brooke Shields had not read that one.. brilliant its like a sort of of negative mensa
