I don't like them. I don't like their keyboard jingles and I tire of alexi's vocals.

I'm not to into CoB, but I can recomend some good Deathmetal. I've never been too into the band Death, but their first album Scream Bloody Gore is pretty good. Skip Canibal Corpse, they are monotonous and dull. Morbid Angel has some great stuff and I recomend almost all of it, but the best again is the first, Alters of Madness. Possessed's first album, Seven Churches is good too, but is more really heavy thrash. If you like thrashy, punkish death check out the Canadian Slaughter. For good Death/Doom check out My Dying Brides first album As the Flower Withers. Hate Eternal is awsome with amazing guitar work from Eric Rutan formerly of Morbid Angel. Exumed is good gore/grind/death and put on a great live show. I've heard some good Obituary, but not enough to recomend anything. That's about all I can recomend as I'm more a Black Metal fan, but I hope this helps as far as Death Metal.

    I don't see how you can suggest death metal bands without mentioning;
Hypocrisy, who haven't put out a shitty album yet..
Cryptopsy, with one of the best technical drummers out there...
Athiest .. Do they even need an introduction?
Suffocation, got to see these guys live, some of the best slow grinding riffs in death metal.
Quo Vadis, a very distinctly different death band.
Bolt Thrower, jackasses with rock star attitudes, but good musicans.

Almost forgot Martyr, insanely talented tech death.

Death is one of my favorite bands, and Scream Bloody Gore is their worst album, for sure, although its still good. Leprosy, Individual Thought Patterns and Spiritual Healing are way better than it.

Quoted for truth, though I put Sound of Perseverance above most (Spirit Crusher being one of my favorite death songs, haha)

First off, I said right in my post that I am more of a black metal fan, that's how I can post and not metion certain important bands. Next, Metallideth, that's the first good post I've ever seen you write, keep up the good work (I know that probably seems sarcastic, but it is not meant to be). I have heard Hypocracy, and it is dull, dull, dull. As for the later stuff by Death, I'm never a fan of once good bands that go all soft and "experimental." I used to own Symbolic, and I was never able to listen to the whole thing, it seemed pointless. Sorry, I just thing that something called "Death Metal" should be brutal, raw, and agressive.

I hate it when bands get soft too, But Death didn't, they just got less raw and more talented.

    I don't need your critique.

Hyprocrisy is far from dull, I'm surprised, coming from a BM fan, who characteristically should have quite a tolerance for dull sound, that you would claim that... haha.

Hypocrisy is pretty cool. I've seen them live twice and twice they were the bast band of the day.

I also recommend My Dying Bride, seeing as it's probably my favourite band right now. Don't limit yourself to their first album either, even though they never got as death metal-ish as that ever again.

I like God Dethroned. Their second album, Bloody blasphemy, is very well-structured semi-melodic death metal (but with plenty of blast beats) with a very black metal-ish edge to the guitar sound, and a remarkably epic atmosphere. Nearly flawless album.

Don't really listen to death metal, not even to GD and Hypocrisy much.

    A war on a forum?
Oh please. Metallideth, as much as a prick as you are with your insults and lame unchecked aggression, anyone declaring war on a forum is senseless and yes, it does make them look bloody ridiculous.
Moving on, I love Children Of Bodom. Now, Metallideth this does not mean I jack off while listening to them, it does not mean I spend every second of every day saving pictures of the band on to my hard drive, it does not mean I own everything they've ever done and then some. It doesn't label me an arse kisser of shit metal, as you may like to think by me simply declaring that I love COB. Just putting that out there, so you don't come back at me with your ego filled bullshit.
Riff and solo-wise I think the band definitely packs a punch and their drummer is quite talented too. The vocals could be better but musically I think COB shine.

Sounds more like you're already aware of how lame they are and you were fully expecting to be bashed. In reality, what the fuck do I care in regard to what you listen to. It's not like because you listen to them that in some way I'll be stuck hearing those lame songs. Go ahead, enjoy.

    Enjoy I will do.
And everyone else but you and those that don't kiss your behind is lame on this forum in your eyes - so why would you calling me lame bother me one bit?
And if you don't care what people listen to then stop slating their tastes, innit.

I can not be bothered by what you listen to while seeing it as lame, and lame it is, that someone could enjoy such shit music.

It amuses me that what I say seems to bother you.
