Death By Rain?

So, I've got my Greyhound Ticket to Arcata,CA but I'm a bit nervous about being in the 40 degree rainy weather for months!and months!!(I'm from Texass,y'know?)
What do you think the probability of me freezing my testicles off is?
Will I get sick? Will I be miserable?
I have less than 3 months to redeem tickets,
...HOW BAD IS THE RAINY SEASON IN ARCATA?

 

You'll be fine, assuming that you are not a complete dunderhead. You won't get sick or freeze, of course if it turns out to just not be your cup of tea then you might be miserable anyhow. Oh yes, you might get sick if you don't bring your iodine tabs.

I'm looking forward to the solitude 'bad' weather brings. I figger that if I don't sweat,wear layers, and just generally keep healthy... who knows ,I might just live to tell an interesting tale. (just) hopefully not one of prolonged suffering followed by hospitalization!
