Lol. Anyways, I have a problem a lot of people do. Weight. >.< I play DDR pretty well, so that helps, right? Since I've became veg. I've lost near a pound. (It's been only a week), and I'm thinking giving up the deadly pop will help a lot, too. But what I need help in is exercising and stretching. I want to loose weight mainly on my arms, neck, mid drift, butt, and thighs. Which is basically all around, lol. What do you recommend? Also, do you know of anything I can do when I'm feeling lazy and/or sick? (Right now I have a terrible chest cold so it's really hard to breathe when running and exercising.)

    thanks.

    diet plays a main part
with being a veggie, you're really going to have to pay attention to getting all the nutrients you need - especially being young. you are growing. what does your family eat on a daily basis? why did you choose to be veggie? what are you eating on a daily basis? getting rid of soda will be great. try to eliminate it all. a diet soda now and then isnt' all that bad, just like "bad food" isn't all that bad every now and then. keep it in perspective of what you want to accomplish. don't undercut your calories by a lot - don't reduce fat, dietary fat is essential to good health.

DDR can be of some help, but its by far not one of the better methods to weight loss. resistance training (using either bodyweight exercises, weightlifting, or random objects - sandbags and such - are great ways to lose weight)

if you have a chest cold, you need to let that fix itself. dont' push your body too much, you need to recover. then you can slowly get yourself into working out. drink plenty fluids and rest up.

set realistic goals for yourself and go after them. write it down. tell your family. this will help with motivation. but you need to want it for yourself

hmm i hate dieting too - i find that spinning classes really get the job done in terms of working out - if i do the elliptical or the treadmill i just don't push myself hard enough. i need someone yelling at me to make me do it - but it really works. also i drink aquafina alive to satisfy my sweet tooth, but avoid calories.

I would say do some really slow beginners yoga at first and just stretch your muscles out right now....... don't start excersizing a lot right now if you're sick.
