Did anyone else catch this double feature at the Gorge Amphitheater in Washington on Saturday July 3rd? (My friend scored us backstage passes with the Allman Brothers.) It was a great show, though the campground was unfortunately filled with wasted imbeciles shooting off fireworks all hours of the night in a dry grass field crowded with tents, not to mention the obnoxious jackasses blasting obscene rap at full volume on their stereo all night. The total lack of sleep didn't make for a very pleasant drive home the next day. The seats were only about half full for the Allman Brothers, which tells me that the crowd was largely a new breed of young clueless punks.

Anyway, I really wanted to buy one of the T-shirts that featured both bands, but I didn't have enough cash on me, and they were out of my size. Does anyone know if/how I might still be able to get a hold of one?

The Dead and Allman Bros! I'm so jealous.... Why the heck were people playing rap at an event like that? Too bad for them that all those young kids missed the Allman Bros as I'm sure it was a great show. No rap at Schwagstock. Schwagstock was cool. Vince Welnick came and rocked the house! I got 20 feet from the stage. I'll post some pics when I get em developed and scanned in.
