A fresh coffee and English muffin in bed... why... this could be the best evening I've ever had. ^.^ and I didn't even have to do anything.

yes it looks like he tried to make a fitting...thread it into the block and attach the hose with a ring clamp instead if usng the proper fitting...I will photograph it in the morning

It is finally snowing, so no snow in my picture as I took few days ago when I put my shade cloth up but this is my new setting and shade cloth pergola area. :) I'm really loving the shade cloth. Seemed the sun would beam down and cast a nasty glare on the glass top but not so much anymore.

That would last about 13.8 seconds out here when the wind picks up...

@rolling.... Glad you are getting the truck sorted out.

    Damn I need a truck.

Great looking backyard, Irmi. Love those pavers and the shade cloth.

My dogs would wreak havoc back there. I'll be sooo glad when the new pup stops teething on everything. She's such an odd dog. She's like a three year old human toddler on a sugar high all day long. "Hi! Hi! Did you miss me? Hi! What is that? Can I chew on it? Can I chew on you?"

'Down dog!' gets me the 'I'm a Princess stare'... and then off she runs to find something else to destroy.

It's probably well past time for puppy school.

It's got like... 30 screws up in it Tyr. :) I've watched it through the strong breezes so far and it doesn't move or flap at all. :) there's pergola on top of it too so it's only catching wind through the top openings. It's anchored good. :)

Since I've been here there has been an 80+ mph gust that took out a Maple tree, several 50+ mph gusts that has removed the guards on top of my chimney a few times and 30 mph wind, not gusts, happens several times a year. The new tarps over the woodshed has already torn one corner loose... within the first two months.

    Wind happens....

    By the way, what's a breeze? ;)

    =p

Well I think it'll do fine. There really isn't much room for the wind to get up in there. :) I call wind a breeze. ;)

A breeze gently sways flowers in the garden... wind uproots them and plants them on the other side of the backyard fence.

I gotta check the back shingles... Front are fine. That last storm was partially blowing out of the north into the front of the house. Then it switched directions and blasted the back of the house.

Our roof needs to be swept/cleaned off. All of the leaves have fallen and for ONCE before I have raked I want those leaves down on the ground...THEN I will start the nonending process of raking these 2 acres until spring. (I'm not raking the whole dang area!)

The idea of mowing the leaves instead of raking them was NIXED BIG TIME by the boss...Lord knows I'd rather just get my raking exercise than engage in that battle. No, that would be a war, and not worth it. Raking, it will be.

So, its the basement, heater, 2 acres of leaves, (messy house) and oh...other stuff also... But I'm just counting the 1st 3. lol :)

i think you said you have a lawnmower like mine?....i just run over the leaves and it chews them up real good with just a few passes...it looks like shredded tobacco when im done and mixes into the soil real good within days

mines an older commercial rwd snapper with an x shaped blade

What I did was make the mistake of telling The Boss (mama) of my big plans...merciful God you would have thought I was planning on pushing the leaves around the house and setting them on fire...which is another thing that would be Super Easy. If we (I) was allowed to burn the leaves I could make short work of lots of piles and then burning them. easy peasy

The boss is only interested in what is the opposite of easy. :dizzy2: :bigcry: :wall:

Lynn, you tell Mama to get out there and rake the leaves herself or shut the fuck up about how it gets done. She's got to let go of something at her age. Fuck, buy her a jigsaw puzzle and lock her in her room.
