Thoughts and prayers, and all that. . . . . . Good riddance. David Koch, billionaire and conservative activist, dies at 79
Doesn't change anything, everything he was involved with will continue. My condolences to his family.
I grew up in Wisconsin...good education, progressive government, people like Robert Lafollet and Gaylord Nelson. The Koch brothers changed all that with a little help from thr “R” party, assorted malcontents and LOTS of money. Similar to other fascist movements, the first target was unions, then they went after education. Now Wisconsin has poor public education, voter suppression, a dirty environment and crony politics that will take a very long time to fix. The Koch brothers bought Wisconsin. RIP Wisconsin.
Yeah... I know what they did and were still doing when David died, what will continue to happen through his "foundations" even after he's gone... My main point is this changes nothing, his foundations will continue to buy politicians and write "proposed" anti worker, anti environment, legislation to be passed by those same politicians. Never liked the guy and what he stood for, but I'm not going to be "happy" someone died.
And after all the gazillions and conniving, he got himself no farther than the rest of us in the long run!
Wrong place - he ain't there - he's stoking the fiery furnace down below alongside Margaret Hilda Thatcher !!!
