David Bowie

I only have two albums of his, a greatest hits compilation and "Low", but I quite enjoy his music and he does intrigue me. Yesterday I got "Low", and I love it. However, this does not mean I will love EVERY album of his.
Can anyone recommend any other albums of his? For example, I've heard that "Scary Monsters" is supposed to be a real good un, but that's what The Critics say, and The Critics say many things. What, in your opinion, is his all-surpassing best?

 

Oh man tough question. Bowie is all over the place each album has a differnt sound. My favorite is Hunky Dory, its got Life on Mars, Queen Bitch, and Changes on it. Its also got my favorite song Bombers. So yeah Hunky Dory. Always Crashing in the Same Car is another of my favorite songs, never heard the studio version though, only live.

One more thing: Life on Mars will be your favorite song, everyone goes through a Life on Mars phase

Oh really? Thank you for that. I really appreciate it. There are just so many of his albums--it's very bewildering when you're trying to pick out a new one to listen to.

 

That was the Album that really put Bowie on the spotlight.

I find "Space Oddity" and "Low" to be one of his most melon collie albums.
