He released his 25th album on Jan. 8th, which also happened to be his 69th birthday.

He'd been battling cancer for 18 months.

How the hell does Keith Richards out live all these guys?

 

People will sometimes live to make milestones. My grandfather wanted to live to see his and my grandmother's Golden Wedding Anniversary and his 75th Birthday. He was ready to go in 2 weeks after that.

 

Bowie was an all-time favorite of mine. I am a huge fan of the guy's work. Definitely a genius.

Wow... that was cray.

Truly one of his best songs, though. The final minute is what makes this song, IMO.

Somewhat ironic, this was recorded 1 month before Bing died and was aired shortly after his death and now David has passed away so close to the release of his last album... Working right up until the end, both of them.
