Just a few days ago we had wind chills in the - double digits. Now it is damn near 60 degrees outside. Might explain why I feel like shit today.
Yea. We (California) have had an active forecast as well with rain pummeling us early yesterday and sprinkles here and there for most of the morning today. Nothing anywhere near as extreme as what they are experiencing in the colder parts of the country though. Headlines on some websites the other day were talking about temperatures colder than Antarctica.
A bit of radiant heat fro the sun during the day. but otherwise temperatures have been hovering around zero (32F) for the last 5 days here in the UK. It is not inspiring me to do too much work, but their is always HF to pass the time LOL.
What I mean is... while I like how it feels outside, it just fucks with my allergies and makes me feel like crap overall. My nose is runny and I itch all over. But I am drinking beer, so that helps.
my left hip feels like its wanting to fall off. i think barometric pressure may have something to do with this. was shirt sleave weather three days ago. for the past two, its been pouring down buckets. not cold enough to snow, but where i'm sitting, the only place really to set up my work station, the self contained heat pump in my unit, blows straight at my lower half. and being of the sort that it is, has to have the air flowing to not burn up the elements, before and after they actually heat, and thus, a good part of the time blows ambient air, and of course moving air is also endothermic.
I've spent the last several years, the last decade really, feeling this intense warping pressure in my head. It didn't occur until I moved out of SC, a while after the headbutt, but I still wonder if the headbutt wasn't to blame.
I've asked numerous doctors now, and they don't give me anything. One tried to tell me it was sinuses and gave me shit to squirt up my nose. I know it isn't sinuses. But it's really hard to explain what it feels like. I wonder if I can just go in and tell them to give me a CAT scan and make sure everything's all right. It's quite a horrible way to live. Though I don't complain very much.
It's -5 today and we got some snow. I'm pretty sure that's why my bones were aching and I felt exhausted. I'm day drinking, eating doritos and watching football, so that's okay.
Yeah, the temp vacillations are kinda brutal--I haven't gotten sick this time though. And luckily no allergies for me. But sometimes if it's been cold and then it's suddenly warm and I over-exert myself, I can get a little fainty.
Ohhh... ok. I never know sometimes... lol You are a sweetheart, though, and much nicer than you were as a teenager.
