he is a brilliant actor. Very powerful. The fact that he works as a cobbler, and isnt into the hollywood crap that goes on is also pretty cool. I admire his work as an artist and his maintaining his integrity in a world full of people who sell their souls daily to make a buck
He is a good actor. Haven't seen anything with him in it recently though. Shame that more actors don't have the same ethic as he does
Lewis is quite great, he's one of those actors that I don't think gets the attention that he deserves, but he's amazing.
He's a really, really good actor. He was phenomenal in Gangs of New York (one of my favorite movies).

I agree. Daniel Day Lewis is a great actor. He is also incredibly sexy. I didn't think he was too good looking when he was younger.. But now, WOW he's a fox.
He's a hard core method actor, and does not break character untill the very end of a shoot. He's one of my favorites, and I recomend To anyone, no matter what their taste, to see The Last of the Mohicans, The Covenant, Gangs of New York, and There Will Be Blood. Every one of those movies is fantastic.
