    Hello,

for the first time since 1945 the Baltic Sea is under missile fire again. But this time it is in a peaceful manner. The Danes are on their way to bring human beings into space and today they try to launch a rocket. I hope their test flight will be a success.

    Hello,

well, I guess they had trouble to find volunteers for their mission. But this guy looks emotionless and tough enough to go on this special journey ;):

    I just read, technical difficulties.

They are not the first to launch dummies into space. ;)

Perhaps the US could launch a retirement shuttle mission with a payload of 535 dummies that are currently infesting both houses of congress.

When I read the title all I could think of was that Muppet Shot bit "Pigs in Space"...

With all the hot air on that mission, they may not even need fuel to get lift off. :)

Might help with global warming- removing the source for so much hot air... so very much to be accomplished that it might economically justify a fat NASA budget.

I might be able to get on board with this whole idea as long as right after launch the whole space mission is scrubbed so that there is no chance of a return flight. ;)

Well- the vehicle could be tweaked to ensure there will be no safe re-entry. Constructing critical exterior tiles from magnesium would be a very good start.

Now we need to make the vessel larger as we need to include many more on that memorable journey.

No country should be excluded!! :)

Excellent point... I think this could usher in a new age of international cooperation... and the dawning of the age of... of.. well

We could rename the shuttle mission the Aquarius Program.

There was a sitting U.S. Senator who flew on the space shuttle back in the 80s (Jake Garn).

Some might be disappointed to know that he got back safely.

Not at all! When the others are all herded up, they will be less suspecting of being blasted off. :)
