Dane Cook is a dumb motherfucking hack that relies on swearing and shock value to make his act seem funny. Now if he was like Lenny Bruce or George Carlin, and actually made you THINK while making you laugh, that would be fantastic. But he's not and he doesn't so he should make up some shit that's actually funny other than "Someone shit on the coats!"
dane cook is funny because you hear what he says and you think "ha thats so true".for instance "the friend nobody likes" and "the nothing fight". if he wasn't so funny he would of never made TIMES 100 most influential people.
George W. Bush made the Times 100 most influential people list too, itdoes not make him a shining example of the human character, or funny in any way, it just makes him a more famous douchebag.

I don't think the purpose of Time's 100 most influential people list is to show that people are funny or "shining examples of human character"...it's just to show that they're influential. Wouldn't you say that the president of the United States is a pretty influential person?
