im not sure where this will fit, but i couldnot find any better place to post this topic.anyone knows any remedy for hairloss and dandruff? i noticed that i was losing a lot more hair and dandruff problem is getting worse. i have naturally dry skin...i posted this problem on http://www.girlsguidetobeauty.com but so far i have not ot any response. any advice/suggestions?
For hair loss itself, Rogaine (or generic brands--much cheaper!) can work and has formulations both for men and women, but it'll _worsen_ the dandruff/itch issue. You can try to balance those two out, though, between Rogaine and anti-dandruff stuff. One other idea is Nizoral shampoo, with the active ingredient Ketoconazole. It's an effective anti-dandruff shampoo, but ketoconazole has also been shown in some studies to have a mild effect on reducing hairloss. So you might just go and try that too, see how it works.
