my roomate is obsessed with sex... really. but this is the catch... she's a chick. this just seems so odd for me because we've been really good friends since freshman year of college, almost 3 1/2 years now. and i'm not gonna put all of her business out there, but it's starting to piss me off a little bit now. i'm all for love and everything, but today, and every night for that matter, i can't go to sleep because of the squeaking and moaning going on right above my head. today she gets home from the thanksgiving break, and she knows i'm sleeping cause i yell to her... then she goes upstairs and i swear, i woke up at least 5 different times between noon and about 6:30pm from their noise... if i would have known she was a sex fiend, maybe i wouldn't have moved in... such a touchy subject.
Maybe you could explain your frustrations to her (I am sure it wouldn't be too weird since you've been friends for a while) and then suggest switching bedrooms so you aren't right below her?
for some reason it just seems like she would take some offence if we started talking about her sex life. she's the type of girl who likes to complain about the things i do, so to me, this would definitely be one of those things. because i'll admit, most of my business is away from home. maybe if i ask her to respect that, and respect the fact that i need my sleep... maybe when i'm not home or something... as far as the switching rooms thing goes, i pay just slightly less than they do because they have the bigger rooms, a room that i don't need with my lack of furniture. and they're both chicks so they like to have their own floorm and i'd rather be right by the kitchen anyways... so i guess the best thing would be to talk to her... any suggestions on how to start a conversation like that?
First, let me say... It made me laugh to read that you would rather be right next to the kitchen anyways. That is such a man thing to say, hehehe... As far as starting the conversation goes, I think you should just tell her something like: "Can we talk for a few minutes? I have something that's been bothering me and I haven't brought it up before now because I haven't wanted to make you uncomfortable but I feel like we are close enough friends to be able to talk about these things... "

You could always just say, wow, you've been knockin' boots a lot lately. maybe she doesn't know that you hear her
it's funny cause it squeaks like hell... and then the moaning... one time they left the sliding door open and i could hear that shit coming through my window... not that i have a problem with hearing female moaning, but not at like 3am when i have to get up at 10 the next morning...
or perhaps you could say, "do you have a video camera, because porn that is only in audio format doesn't really do it for me"
