i knew it was going to be you to break that news....ive known since MSN today ruined my ignorance..... Grateful Dead sucks....
They do..seriously...... well the songs i know anyway.....im always willing to change my opinion if i find some good songs..
Fuck that. Jerry Garcia could have walked on water if he wanted to, but that's not the kinda guy he was. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=02OZDKCbwWM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-LMjOQqCIo
Damn, that's a real drag... obviously they don't suck, or they wouldn't have been around for 40 years.
youre correct, with short-term popularity... but the grateful dead were immensely popular for 40 years, man. if they sucked their fans would have wanted them gone at the end of the 60s.
Snoop Dog has been around 15 years.......and hes a moron....... I guess time will tell but of course the dead are better than snoopdog........
all biases aside, Snoop recorded one of the single greatest rap albums of all time (The Doggfather or whatever it is). can't say i dig snoop but it'd be a sin to ignore such an awesome achievement just because he's a black rapper.
Yeah, but you've never seen Phil Lesh & Friends, The Dead, The Other ones, or bands like Dark Star Orchestra, live. Oh well, your loss... Snoop Dogg is alright, but I still don't consider most of it music. As John Mayer said, music really hasn't been what's out there lately... So he started doing hip-hop tracks with other artists because that's where Rock used to be, then he was like "well screw that" and made a transition to Blues/Jazz Trio stuff... recorded with Herbie Hancock.
