I've often wondered: Why is it that the dems are such pussies?

One idea is that neo-liberalism as an ideology is actually an apolitical phenomenon. It's utopian.

It's idealism, and moral purity. It's an insistence on anything which isn't practical, mundane, or requires compromise.

It never sticks it's hand in the mud lest it should turn impure.

As a result, the dems - who try to appeal to this crowd - have no policy. And are therefore relegated to ape the Reps and put a stupified face of saintliness on the proceedings.

Compare the dems of today with the dems from The New Deal.

 

thats because McCain is busy doing town hall meetings in swing states..that i may add obama was invited to as well,but he snubbed them for his european tour..
apparently that doesnt sit well with voters and by all accounts McCains poll numbers in those states have went up significantly since obama has been over there playing rockstar...

The Dems operate with seemingly more conscience then the conservatives and have always enacted more people friendly laws.Of course,maybe that's just the way this "play" is set up.Wouldn't do to have only conservative thought and actions in play--woulda' been another revolution for sure--LIKE THE CONSTITUTION SAYS WE SHOULD DO when the government no longer serves the needs of the people.
