Just out barefootin’ walkin’ the dog after a few days indoors with a cold. Bare soles direct on the pavement for 40 minutes was just what the doctor (hadn’t) ordered!
Very cool! Just came in from a barefoot walk around my apartment complex. It's chilly and a bit dreary out, but it still felt lovely.
It really does. Just saw that TV ad again for that over the counter anti aging pill Serovital "that supports more restful sleep, added lean muscle mass, mental acuity, increased energy" Ya sure, I bet in clinical trials a daily barefoot walk outside would have better results, totally beat what ever that stuff is. Or putting effort into going barefoot inside more too, I was one of those for a long time shoes usually always on when not sleeping morning till night.
Great barefoot walks yesterday and today. One great perk of not having to go to our office right now is all the extra barefoot time. I am LOVING it!
Unless it's uncomfortably cold, or your floor is constantly littered with Legos, I don't see the point to wearing anything on your feet in the house.
I just did over 4 miles on pavement and sidewalks. Calves feel good feet pads feel fine. I guess that daily quarter mile back and forth walk I do in the street wile I do my phone calls kept them in shape. Phone call time maybe get a mile in just up and down the road. Thought maybe I was getting soft but I held up just fine on this long one keeping up with a person wearing shoes.
That sounds like a ton of fun! Walking and running is twice as fun when you are barefoot and can feel your way around. With shoes, socks, sandals or flip flops on, you can only rely on four senses.
