BMW 3 series is the standard "I have money" while not having money car. They are not that expensive if you get a base trim especially on a lease. Maybe the kid thought it was not up to his level.

I LOVE BMW so I'm kinda upset. I have to say this kid is nuts. A $100K Jag is worth 40 in 5 years and is full of problems. They are pretty cars but I owned one and that was enough. You are hot shit in high school when you have a Jag coupe and your friend has dad's old SUV. Girls would call it the James Bond car. Oh yeah good for the making out unless your face looks like mine.

They say BMW= brings mechanics work too. Years of ownership and nothing like the Jaguar. This kid is spoiled.
