Hey all, I'm new to the forum so Hallo first of all. Second of all...help!! I'm plannin a trip for my boyfriend and me to amsterdam (obviously!) haven't found a hotel we think we'd like to stay in either coz of crappy reviews or way too expensive prices. We want somewhere kinda middle of the spectrum, a room u wouldn't mind spending time in (if you get my meaning!) a bit of privacy, a decnt bed - we're both sort of tall! - sounds like a stupid thing to mention only we've read reviews of places where ppl specifically mentioned short beds...would not be funny to have toes freezing out one end of the bed! Somewhere - sort of central to the night life etc. Been checkin out the posts on coffee shops etc very helpful - but also - are there any decent night clubs to find techno or quality music - NOT TRANCE OR HOUSE...just sweet techno! There's plenty of techno to be found, there is a large following for that genre there. On a weekly basis there are plenty of Techno parties in Amsterdam. A small collection of tips for you would be: Club More: www.expectmore.nl Escape Venue: www.escape.nl Just two examples. Plenty of other nice clubs playing sweet techno can be found. Else just ask around. Plenty of people here who like it just as much you do. Can't help you on the beds - Never had problems with them myself ... but I'm Dutch
