now this will probably sound like a stupid question, cuz when it comes 2 anything chem. related im pretty stupid... but would it be possible 2 isolate or extract only the d-amphetamines from adderall. from what ive heard theres like 4 diffrent "i dont no the word" but shall we say amphetamine structures in adderall. an supposibly the d amphetamine is the most fun. so yea i have a shit load of 30mg instant release that i got 4 free, and i guess theres like 7.5mg of d amphetamine in each pill, so would this be a possibility and if it is what would be entailed in the process. also would it be worth the amount of pills. cuz like i said i have alot an hell i could just eat up an shit, but something new would be cool.
Dextro-amphetamines (or methamphetamines) can be synthesized from amphetamine (Adderall). It requires a number of relatively dangerous ingredients, a decent knowledge of chemistry, and some luck if you don't have to proper equipment. I wouldn't recommend it because of how dangerous this can be in the hands of the inexperienced. Even experienced Cooks get blown up by accident. peace
Resolution of amphetamine enantiomers is not possible for the citizen chemist, but in a corporate lab. Also, d-amph and d-methamph are two different substances. If you want to try d amph, find a friend with dexedrine or better yet, desoxyn.
The only real reason to extact the amph from the pills would be to shoot it. Otherwise just eat or snort them. Seperation of the optical isomers is WAY over my head and probably even further over yours. I intent no offence by saying that. If you base the extracted amph and gas it back to the salt it would all be ampetamine hcl rather than the weird (and probably simply patent driven rather than serving any real purpose) salts which are in adderal.
You are not going to get d-amphetamine out of adderall. First you'd need to basify all 4 salts which is quite complex it itself. You'd stand a much better chance reducing ephedrine to meth ahaha. It's very difficult to isolate one ismoer from a chiral molecule....
youre best bet is too look up techniques for separating a racemic mix, but if you dont know anything about chemistry it probably wont make any sense at all. maybe some industrious fiend has already cooked up a convenient recipe for this particular extraction, who knows? I aint googlin that shit.
