Cyprus is a beautiful country, shame about the ongoing conflict. I've been 3 times, always stayed in Protaras as it's a nice area, but I've travelled around most of the Greek part. My most enjoyable memory being the Troodos mountains and walking around the Kiko Monastery. I found Nicosia to be a rather sad place, particularly when looking over the wall and also the lookout point near Famagusta. That was extremely haunting, especially seeing people's washing on clothes lines that had been there since 1974. I love all the geckos chilling out though
