im wandering if cured buds, even those cured for just a week or so, change in their appeareance somehow? when i first cut this plant, the buds were reallly light and green, and now after curing for a few goods days, they are darker and not as green, still gren of course just a darker hue. also, does the smell change due to curing? thanks alot

PS - to cure, to be sure im doing it right, after buds are dry, put them in a sealed glass container. Every day let them breathe for about 10 minutes and after a few days start to lengthen the time in between each breathing sesssion. sounds alright?

i've never really experienced any buds changing color when curing, they do get smaller tho. Im sure its possible that they slightly change color, but i've never really noticed.

Yes, smell will change with curing. What your doing, in general, when curing is letting the buds dry more evenly and converting most of the THC into its psychoactive form. When doing this, obviously your buds become a bit more potent, and they change in aroma as well.

When i cure....the first week or so, i let the jar breathe 2-3 times per day for around 10min each time. After the first week, i gradually LESSEN the amount of times i let them breathe. When they are perfectly dry, i only let them breathe like once every few days, until finally just letting them sit in the jars and not breathing them at all. Unless im getting in the jar to get some buds out to smoke ;) I usually stop breathing the jars completely, at around the 1 month mark......hope this helps.

My buds changed color when cured this year, going from light green to dark or almost amber green.
