You cannot CURE the common cold... mainly because there are WAAAY too many strains of the cold virus. However, if you start to take zinc and echinasea RIGHT away- they can shorten the duration and severity of the cold by about 50 percent. Couple that with drinking lots of juice and water and taking vitamin C.... and it should defiantly go away faster.
you wont get one if you dont eat animal products. i've been cold free for nearly a year and a half, and theres a few other people in the vegetarian forum who havent had one in ages as well. coincidence? i doubt it.
perhaps this just worked for me, but suprisingly smoking pot really helped, even with the sore throat. My cold only lasted a few days. that, and lots of vitamin C
A shot of Echinacea in some orange juice (or anything with vitamin C in) and a salad with lots of garlic will help to build up your immunity system and make you feel loads better.
This is absolutely a coincidence. Healthy people have more resistance to infectious bacteria and viruses. Being vegetarian, however, does not always mean healthy! I know vegetarians that eat french fries twice a day, everyday!
