What are favourites? Who are your favourite Crime novelists?

For me Ian Rankin takes the cake, followed by Mark Billingham.

Michael Connelly, James Patterson, Jonathan Kellerman, and most recently, a newcomer. Kirby W Taylor with his first effort "Broken Justice" I was pleasantly surprised at the depth of this book, being a first effort.

I'm not a big fan, but I did like some James Ellroy novels and Tom Clancy's futuristic NetForce

Cool, I'll check out Kirby W Taylor!

I'd forgotten about Jonathan Kellerman! The Butchers Theatre is one of my favourites!

    More to check out!

I've read a lot of Michael Connelly. He's probably my most read American crime writer.

I love Jeffery Deaver and Dean R Koontz. But I should introduce myself to more writers.

Lee Child with his Jack Reacher character.

(although one of his books is being made into a movie with Tom fuck Cruise as Reacher!!!!WRONG. Reacher is 6'5" and 235.Bad mistake) Guess everyone else in the cast will have to four foot six!!.

I love old noir-ish fiction, like Raymond Chandler. You should give his stuff a look. Elmore Leonard is also great.
