My husband wants to be cremated, but I think I tend to lean towards fertilizing the earth with my remains.

that's an interesting article. i'd never heard of that before.

it's strange this subject would come up now because my father-in-law passed away a week ago today (hence my signature) and he wanted to be cremated. and it's funny how extended family and some friends react. some people seem to get really mad that there isnt going to be a wake and a funeral. although you can actually have a viewing of the body and all before the cremation if you want, but he didnt want that. once he is cremated, they will take a boat out and spread his ashes off the coast of cape cod. you know what's weird about it though? you could do it all online . but anywho....we are having a "celebration of life" for him on saturday instead of a depressing wake

I want to be cremated. Then I want my cousin and other close friends to sprinkle some of the ashes in a blunt with some weed and smoke me.

 

i would like to be cut in half lengthways and then have on half sewn back together and buried and then the other half cremated. but i dont think the coroner would appreciate that so im just going to be cremated and my ashes scattered between san fransisco and L.A by the ocean.

I'll probably be stuffed mounted and put in a museum .. OR used in medical research..

Given this choice.. i think, cremation and scattered over a local historical beauty spot..
