If you ever saw a "Rocky" movie, at least the first 4, then you are familiar with Rocky Balboa's arch enemy/turned friend character Apollo Creed. The 1st "Creed" is about Apollo Creed's son, played by actor Michael B. Jordan, being coached by Rocky. Great movie! Creed 2 will be coming out, and this has an interesting plot. The Russian in Rocky 4, Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren), who killed Apollo Creed in an exhibition match and then fought Rocky, Drago is now coaching his own son to fight against Creed's son in a championship fight. I can't wait to see this!
Rocky movies make me feel fat and lazy. There's always that one 5min scene where he's getting into boxing shape and I'm left sitting there with my big cup of coke and popcorn and salt and vinegar chips in cotton pants and a singlet feeling all blerrr One movie I remembered I liked about boxing was the Hurricane. I can't remember it, but, I bought it once and haven't watched it. And I know I bought that for a reason so I must have liked it.
Rocky movies always have that moment of inspiration to make you feel you can dig deep when you're down and pick yourself back up. Hurricane was an awesome movie with Denzel Washington (awesome actor)! I just watched an old movie with Lou Gosset Jr and James Woods called "Diggs Town". Pretty entertaining prizefighter movie.
Honestly, no. Always wanted to get into it, admired the sport, but never got any good formal training. Plus, seeing people get thier heads knocked around pretty bad, made me concentrate on learning to kick reeeally hard
I agree the movie was very generic. Strange seeing Brigitte Nielsen, hadn’t seen her since Beverly Hills Cop II
You might have been watching Flavor of Love. I think they were on The Surreal World and started dating. It was gross, and she looked rough!
Yeah it was the Flavor of Love. I also saw a few episodes of Charm School and although the girls were hot they were nasty ...lol...
