Create a proverb that follows your own experiences and your own intuition; what you found to be true in your personal life or in the lives of others or both.

"The cynical man cannot know truth;

therefore will he live a life befitting to his attitude."

or

"To the cynical man truth is naive,
for a lie is as smooth as velvet;
it entices those that are built of straw,
for they lack the foundation to be held in place."

Revision:
"The truth is naive to the cynical,
for a lie is as smooth as velvet;
it moves those that are built of straw,
for they lack the foundation to remain unswayed."

 

If it is too easy,
it probably isn't good for you.

 

If you were to put this where non-Christians could get at it, it would be quickly corrupted.
