me, my bf and my mate went and picked up a deal last night. We went in, and we sat around the table and seshed. Anywho, he pulled out his home made crack pipe, [neither of us three smoke crack], and i had a good look. It was made out of the end of a crack pipe in a little salt container and then the mouth piece. I noticed that he put water in the little plastic container, and on the way home my BF said something to me like the water makes it less potent? [i was so high it was good weed so i wasnt listening that hard, plus my friend was all over the road so i was watching ahead lol] So yeah im wondering wtf was the point in puting water in that little home made crack pipe.
i dont know, i didnt follow the explaination well but no, water shouldnt weaken it. crack is really impure cocaine freebase (freebase, despite common usage, is NOT a verb) and inherently insoluble in water, i think. not sure i've heard of people making and smoking their crack in the same thing. boiling some cocaine and baking soda together in a small container (like an empty pop can) and once the water evaporates the heat will start getting the crack to smoke.... i've also heard of people smoking crack with some cheap waterpipes/bongs sometimes i really dont know and can't tell from your description though
why would anyone wanna weaken crack? I have smoked it a few times out of regular pipes, and a chillum once since it was the only thing available, but never introduced water to it. Nesta is right, crack isnt water soluble. Guess they were going for the water bong effect or something.. to cool the smoke down maybe. also, its kind of pointless since the resin from the crack pipe is some of the best smoke there is. damn, no more crack talk from me.
