Cow Power - Methane Digesters

Methane as a greenhouse gas has 20 times more potential than carbon dioxide for global warming. However, like the protagonist in the novel Green Power, we can convert manure into methane with methane digesters and produce electricity.
Pacific Gas and Electric is using the excess methane from dairies in California to supplement it's natural gas and produce electricity for it's customers.
