k well ive been planning on growing my own stash for sometime now, the only problem i think i would have is the smell of my plants, obviously it would depend on how many/what kind of plant(s) im growing. i was thinking the computer grow op, looks unbait and i guess id have 2 or 3 of them, was thinking about making a filter for the fans on those comps with like bounce sheets or something to cover the smell.... anyone think it could work? i mean with the fan blowin the hot air into the sheets, itl make it smell nice and clean lol?

alright so i did some reaserch on the subject and i coulda completely avoided this thread, sorry... i found this place that sells nice pc grow ops and was thinking about goin for this one http://www.homegrown-hydroponics.com/lapccotogrbo.html . its ok, in my price range and includes pretty much everything needed, including odor remover. :) my problem is debating weather i grow them completely in that box, if i do so i can only grow 1 possibly 2, i wana avoid transfering to a bigger grow room until i actually have the money to get one. like if i get a short bushy strain of somekind at a seedbank can i actually get a decent yield (obviously depends on strain) if i grow it all in the comp?

I plan on using fish filter charcoal to cut down on the smell I only have 3 plants in a homemade grow cab I think it will be sufficient. But I keep my place clean so all I smell is soap.

Looks like a pretty stealthy grow box, just pricey. You should read up on Low Stress Treatment to maximize yield in a small grow space like that. Also, most seed banks will list the height of each strain, for example here, but most likely you want an indica. Check out the lowryder strains.

ye my friend got some seeds from the montreal seed bank, some shit called lowrider diesel or smth ... sounds nice, he planted them end of june so should be ready soon.
i was thinking for low stress grow, instead of pinning it to the dirt, there should be a way to make the plant follow a spring type thing persay,
    wraps around thus growing fatter/shorter?

The homegrown hydroponics he grow box is fantastic if used properly for micro-grows. Just be sure to train your plants. I have heard good things about this company...

Just get a grow tent with a carbon filter/can fan combo.

i have to a agree with AT98BooBoo all you need a tent and a carbon filter, as for how much you get from each plant deponds on your set up and strain your growing, most seed company say about 500 to 700gr/sqm depending on strain. less is more :)

I am sure you have already made you decision, but I will give my 2 cents on this product. For the price I would go another route. For $700 you could easily build something bigger that will produce more. Or build what they are selling and save a few bills. If it where me I would go with a 3x3, or 4x4 hydrohut, or one of the knock offs. be about $200. Get a 250, 400, or 600 HPS. Can get them anywhere from $100- $200. Fan/ carbon scrubber combo for $150. Spend all that and you still have $150 for some buckets, pump, hoses and all the other randoms.

There are a few Things about that particular company that make me a little weary. First off you got to wonder about a company that make you pay $10.00 for a signature confirmation. If you do happen to buy from them I would save $10 as that is a benefit for the seller, not the buyer. and $45 shipping upgrade to pack it all safely?

Above all else It really sends up red flags for me when I see I can save $350 thanks to there Thanksgiving day sale in June.

Just out of curiosity did you buy it? If so do you recommend it?
