Depends what you define as "country music." The newer commercialized country music I cannot stand. If you're talking about the classics, like Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Patsy Cline, Gram Parsons, Emmylou Harris, etc., then I would have to say yes, I do listen to it.

What do you get when you play a country music record backward?

You get your wife back, your car back, your job back, your house back. You get out of jail, etc.

well out of all the mainstream forms of music in our culture i would have to say i dislike country the most of all.

the amount of production going into country records is too restrictive for the artist to create anything that is ground breaking or fresh. . .the music sounds too slick and polished...and predictable.

most of all , i hate the attitude country has taken on. it's so bullheaded in it's personification of american sentiment. it makes stereo typical americans not so stereo typical and encourages the ignorance of red blooded american people.

great example of good shit pr.

I rarely listen to it even though I'm surrounded by it living only 30 miles from Nashville, TN. I do agree with Pressed Rat about the old classic stuff as opposed to what's around now.

I don't listen often to it but there's some great stuff in the genre. I would love to stroll around Nashville, going to country bars and stuff for awhile, haha. Just to feel that atmosphere!

I listen to Dixie Chicks, Shania Twain, and old John Denver (country/folk). Sometimes a little bluegrass. That's about all.

I'm partial to a bit of bluegrass from time to time. Hank Williams, Del McCoury, Fred Eaglesmith, Stanley Brothers, that kind of thing.

if kenny chesney would just DIE,country radio would be much more tolerable..

oh and we cant forget that fucker for rascal flats that sounds like someone cut his nuts off.

i like a lot of country but i listen to very little country radio, mostly due to the fact that every fifth song is either by the lil faggot, the nutless wonder, tim mcgraw or his skanky ass wife faith..

    but yeah,i like country..lol

I sure do listen to country music, and every other type of music...why limit yourself to one genre?
