By some advanced ET's. I offer two reasons why I think we may have been. One, Fermi's Paradox. There are clearly more advanced races out there. So where the heck are they? And secondly, consider that there is no other species on earth like humans. No animal comes close to us in intelligence. I at least smell advanced alien intervention. Of course, there were many semi-advanced protohumans before us. So alien intervention would have to be stealthy and indirect. But I suspect that you could still make a case for it. Thoughts?
This world was indeed terraformed; by God. A story for those who doubt His existence; Sir Isaac Newton had a friend who was an atheist. Newton had gotten a new watch. The fellow asked who had made the beautiful timepiece. "Nobody," replied Newton. "Come now," argued the atheist,"Surely you don't expect me to believe that. It's very beautiful!" "Yet you believe this world and all that's in it had no Maker," said Newton sadly, " How is that even possible?"
Perhaps those ETs who terraformed earth and planted the genetic blueprints of human beings expected us as well to pass the baton by terraforming other planets and make them fit for life. They might instead be surprised to see that human beings have made extinct much of the flora and fauna they have diligently grown here, and finally decide to make us extinct as well.
Occam's Razor... Again: God. His creation has disappointed Him.He gave the humans free will. But He has a contingency plan.
BTW, just to clear, I do believe in God. I mean there has to be some higher power here. But I deny Divine Providence. I mean why would a loving God allow so much suffering in the world? Think about it. I also don't believe in an afterlife. I do believe in being good though of course. But punishment only comes in this lifetime. Oh, and FWIW, I don't believe in retribution, divine or otherwise. It's just revenge in my opinion. And if you just want that, then do your own dirty work, as the fictional Homer Simpson says.
Their has long been a theory that humans were planted on earth by extraterrestrial life. It would certainly answer the question of why humans are divided into 3 physical types. Either they were planted at different times, by different intelligent life. or perhaps the differences were purely to match the earths different climatic conditions. While many people believe that we evolved from monkeys, it is still possible that external sources speeded up the mutation.
Why does God let bad things happen...you wouldn't believe how often that question is asked. God doesn't cause these things to happen. The trouble is that this world has been broken, because mankind has rebelled against their Creator. Remember also Job. He was a good and upright man; the Devil pointed out that of course, Job honored God; was he not rich and was his life not perfect? But if God would just allow him to be tested, even he would curse God. God told Satan that he could put Job to the test. Job now lost everything. All his children died in one day, and he was reduced to poverty Still, he refused to curse God. Satan then said that if God would allow him to afflict his body, he would curse God. Job was stricken with boils from head to foot, and he sat in the dirt and scraped at those boils with a pottery shard, still faithful and not cursing God. The Devil gave up and left Job alone, and God gave him more than ever he had. It is still the Devil who taxes man with disease, poverty, and pain. It is he who is responsible for all such trials and tribulations. God sent His son to serve as a ransom for all who would accept that gift, and in His time, He will restore the world He created to its former state of perfection. As to why people come in different , different colors, just shows us that the original pair, our rebellious first parents, had the genetic ability to produce every color of offspring. One of Noah's sons, for example, was dark skinned. God's plan, as described in the Bible, is to restore His creation and no longer allow the Devil to mess it up. He wants us to love Him of our own free will. But, like Job, mankind has been and is sorely tried. If we stay faithful, the rewards will indeed be great.
