Has anyone tried this? Because honestly traveling is becoming more expensive then ever.

 

yeah, tried it in australia but most of the people never even replied.

It's a great concept but I think the web-site needs revamping and improving.

Yes couchsurfing is great! I have used it many times throughout North America. And it has saved my ass many times. Great concept and you can sure meet really interesting people.

 

I'm a member and I really recommend it! It's true that certain places are not as welcoming as others, meaning people will accept less easily.

It's just amazing. It's so cool to be able to travel and be so immersed in the local culture.

 

Yeah ive done this in san francisco for a bit....worked really great. Saved money on accomadation and got to meet cool people who knew good local spots to hang out.

Once I get my own place I'll be hosting for sure....
