These are soo cool! Okay, okay, I know they did cause all the health problems (like enlongated and misshapen ribs and organs moved, passing out, etc.), but I mean wearing them for fun. For some reason, I love wearing this thing! my friend has one that's totally awesome that she got off ebay, and I made my own little bodice-corset-type thing last night (I just guessed how it would work and someohow it does). Am I the only one who finds these really neat?
i love em too for the wedding, i had one custom made by this amazing woman in seattle. her biz is called one wilde knight. she's got a website somewhere. so fun and sensual
I've been wanting one.... I'm just waiting to find the perfect one. How did you make one? That would be cheaper....
i saw the perfect one today, didn't bought it but thought about it (and i am still thinking), but i don't really know when i should wear it. how is a corset supposed to be worn when you (a) don't wear dresses/long skirts that often and (b) the clothes you wear usually are these jeans/t-shirt-type of things? i have to imagine how incredibly strange it would be to wear one under a pullover or something like that. but i want that one so bad...so beautiful!
I just sewed a bodice 2 nights ago. I've never sewn anything aside from skirts and an apron. It was so incredibly easy! I do need to buy a corset or bodice off Ebay (need a credit card or something first). Hey, and you can wear a corset with anything! I don't see why you can wear it with jeans, it seems totally fine to meIt'd look cool!
thx, i guess i'll just try it on and look at how it suits me and if it fits me and my style and such...i just cannot imagine to wear it as underwear, 'cause i saw it in the underwear section...it must feel strange to wear one under some big fat woolen pullover (it's getting cold here).
I love how corsets look. I like the satin and lacy ones. I'd love to wear one but unfortunately my boobs aren't big enough to make it look sexy lol. I always used to think that if I had a really pretty corset, I'd wear it with my favorite worn out jeans, just like that... like it was a shirt. Then I'd throw on a white long-sleeved oxford shirt, like what men wear when they really dress up, leave it unbuttoned and flowy.
