I'm taking my degree via correspondence too.
    its got perks and cons.
The perks? Study anyplace, anytime and go at your own pace(although there is still a schedule to maintain) Also, being able to have an income and not have to quit my job was really important for me. Even though I really wanted to go back to school, I couldn't afford not having an income. I like being able to work faster if I like the course.

The cons? For me, they are the very same things that makes correspondence a perk. I find that I need extra self restraint when all I wanna do after work is collapse onto my bed or just do light surfing or hang out. If I like the course, then its okay but if I don't like the course.. like the one that I'm currently on, I find it very frustrating. I work on it everyday but I can't seem to have enough time(though I guess this would be the same if I attend a normal uni)

My biggest con? Never experienced a college life but correspondence school gave me a chance to work and get a degree too. So it is also my biggest perk.

Clayton is a joke. Their "degrees" are worthless, and getting a real job doing anything with them is impossible. I know a few people who have been badly ripped off and left broke, with NO actual training or credentials.

Starting a "private practice" with what you are "taught" there could get you arrested for practicing medicine without a license, and NO real medical office will take a "degree" from this place as evidence of real training.

Better to get a rea degree from a school that is respected and where you can get a job afterward without losing all your money. If you want to work in health care, you HAVE to have hands on patient care. Something you can't get with correspondence. Go to nursing, EMT or even massage therapy school. Don't bother with Clayton.
